Developing a successful Web site requires thinking strategically about a few key issues. First, determine the purpose of the site. For example, is it a public relations tool, an information clearinghouse, or a direct channel for selling products? Next, determine the target audience for the site. Select a style and tone of writing based on your purpose and audience. Be sure to use energetic language to catch your readers’ attention.

Previously printed brochures, newsletters, and other marketing materials are a great source of information for your site. Be sure to select material that is still relevant to your readers. A Web site can be ideal for displaying information typically hard for your customers or members to find. Consider looking at Web sites of competitors or similar organizations to spark ideas.

One way to organize your content is to separate items that change infrequently from items that require frequent updating. For example, group together a summary of the organization, core products or services, and location information separately from new product offerings, special offers, press releases, and upcoming events. Organizing information in this way enables you to easily update sections needing frequent revision and also helps readers quickly find the information they desire.

Using graphics and photos can add vitality to your site. But keep in mind they require significantly more memory than text, which means they will take longer to download. When you’ve finished creating your site, run the Design Checker to make sure the site downloads quickly and to catch problems with page design.

CD’s

All CD’s are $21.95, two for $39.95.  Additional tax and shipping and handling fees may apply.  .

Beginner Level Lesson 1

This 60 minute CD is designed to accompany Dr. Cheikin's books and Yoga Student Manual.  It is designed for the beginning yoga student who might have some physical limitations.  It contains over 30 tracks including several types of sun salutations. Tracks can be skipped or repeated depending on need.  Dr. Cheikin prefers CD's to DVD's because they are more portable and encourage the student to do poses within the limits of their body (i.e. you are not watching someone else do the poses).

Breathing and Relaxation,  Lesson 1

This CD is based on Dr. Cheikin’s extensive research on breathwork and stress reduction. This CD can be used for sleep induction or during the day for de-stressing.  It is very helpful for hormonal imbalances including adrenal fatigue.   Its several tracks are designed to “reset” and re-balance the nervous system.  In the 1980’s when Dr. Cheikin worked in a hectic ER, he had only 5 hours to sleep between 11am and 4am.  He developed this CD to quickly de-stress and induce a state of relaxation.  Before the breathing exercises, there are several proprietary tracks involving the face and eyes that Dr. Cheikin discovered enabled the nervous system to change to a relaxation mode.

Gentle Level Lesson 1

This 60 minute  CD is designed to accompany Dr. Cheikin's books and Yoga Student Manual.  It is designed for the yoga student who needs a gentle sequence.   Most of the sections can be done while sitting or lying.  It contains over 30 tracks including a gentle  chair-based sun salutation. Tracks can be skipped or repeated depending on need.  Dr. Cheikin prefers CD's to DVD's because they are more portable and encourage the student to do poses within the limits of their body (i.e. you are not watching someone else do the poses).

This CD is also helpful for chronic conditions including: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Neck Pain, Shoulder Pain, Low Back Pain, Sleep Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Hormonal Imbalance, Headaches, Multiple Sclerosis, Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, Seizure Disorder and other Obscure and Chronic Conditions.

Advanced Beginner Level Lesson 1

This 60+ minute CD is designed to accompany Dr. Cheikin's books and Yoga Student Manual.  It is designed for the advanced beginning yoga student who desires a more vigorous, though balanced yoga series.  It contains over 30 tracks including several types of sun salutations and several standing poses. Tracks can be skipped or repeated depending on need.  Dr. Cheikin prefers CD's to DVD's because they are more portable and encourage the student to do poses within the limits of their body (i.e. you are not watching someone else do the poses).
